Hi.....I'm Ashley. 

 

Yes, I truly am a "Small Town Girl".  I was raised in the Thumb of Michigan in a little town called Harbor Beach.  I loved growing up  in a small town and am still hoping I can convince my hubby to move back there someday.  That brings me to my husband Eric.  We met in college in the pool, yes, the pool.  A beginner swim class that we both had no business being in since we are both fish.  It worked out pretty good because we were banished to the deep end of the pool to do laps and the rest was history!  We started dating in 2006, were married in 2013 and now have two-beautiful fur-babies, Quinn and River. 

 

Photography is my jam, but I guess you know that.  You could say I have always had a camera in my hand...high school yearbook editor, college paper, sidelines of a football game and of course my friends always tease we couldn't go anywhere without Ashley bringing her camera.  Yup, always,  When I am not out shooting a session or wedding I am shooting sports.  I love to volunteer my time to photograph sports in the Thumb.  Friday nights in the fall you can also hear me on Thumb Tailgater Sports...the only female in the biz, so this girl knows her sports.  I am also a member of the TSA, Thumb Sportswriters Association and love working with all the high school athletes that we serve.

Fun facts about me......I am fairly certain I will whoop you in Friends trivia.  I love my Duke Blue Devils, March Madness to me is the most wonderful time of the year. My barista knows my Starbucks order by heart.   I run an Instagram page based on our home renovations.  I like to edit pictures with the Office playing in the background.  I actually work at the college where I graduated from during the week, Saginaw Valley State University.  I have 4-nieces and nephews that are the best kids ever.  My hubby takes me every summer to Mackinaw Island, its my happy place!
